3 cards in a row....

This is a first for my blog, 3 cards in one week ! It is amazing how much time I have when the kids aren't around.  They are on holiday with their grandparents and so I have a week of peace too.....
Anyway on to my card; quite a simple one for me this time, I found this image already coloured up in one of my bits and pieces boxes whilst having a sort out.  I probably did it when I first got my prismacolour pencils and just forgot to use it but not now...

Long Time No Speak....

Hello Everyone, I hope you are all well.....I have finally made a return to my blog :)  It has been quite a difficult time of late and I have not really been in a crafty frame of mind but I think things are slowly getting better so I have ventured back out to my cabin.  I have a couple of things to show you; firstly my tissue box,

I bought the blank box from the MDF Man when I went to Alexander Palace earlier this year.  After a couple of coats of gesso, I painted it with Mother of Pearl Acrylic paint and then gave it a coat of crackle from Tim Holtz.  The flowers and butterflies were in my stash.  My second project is a card, I have been inspired by a new LOTV designer, Kathy,  and it is a style of card I have never made before.  Her blog is wonderful and I basically copied one of her cards to get back into the swing of things, so thank you Kathy.  I made the card for my dear friend Nikki ;

Items Used

Papers - Prima Tea Thyme
Sentiment - Inca Stamps
Spellbinders - Labels 22
Memory Box - Elegant Scroll
Quickcutz - Leaves
Flowers from stash and coloured with Promarkers
Pearls - Melissa Frances
Dodlebug - stitches rub ons

The box was made using a scoreboard and edged with picked raspberry distress inks before adding flowers to match the card.  I hope to be back with another make soon,

Take care

My Crafty Cabin is finished!!!!!

Yes it is done and I have moved all my stash in.  I have posted some pictures under my craft room tab if you would like to take a look.  Michael has worked really hard over the last couple of weeks and I am really pleased with how it has all come together.  I am working on something a little different for me and hope to have some photos to show you at the end of the week.

In The Pink.....

Good Afternoon Bloggers, hope you are all well x.  At the beginning of this year I decided that I needed to improve my colouring skills after seeing all the beautiful coloured images around blogland.  Most of the colouring had been done with Copics but I had Promarkers!  So I looked online for tutorials on colouring and blending with Promarkers and found Kimberley at Just Wordz. I followed her tutorial step by step and below is the end result, my first' proper' coloured image!  The fairy is from Redonkadoodles, she has been waiting quite some time for the right card and I didn't realise I very rarely make pink cards(?) so......

I would like to enter my card into the In the Pink Challenge 23 - Pink with Wings
